Embedded Systems Week: Inter-Chapter Technical Initiative
The Embedded Systems Week was an online collaborative initiative led by the IEEE Industrial Electronics Society (IES) Student Branch Chapter at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN), in partnership with the IES Student Branch Chapters at the Federal Center for Technological Education of Rio de Janeiro (CEFET/RJ) and the Federal Rural University of the Semi-Arid Region (UFERSA). The event brought together students, researchers, and professionals from different regions of Brazil in a virtual environment to explore the fundamentals, applications, and emerging trends in embedded systems and cyber-physical technologies.
Technical Training and Professional Development
Through a series of technical lectures and discussions, participants were introduced to the design and development of critical and integrated systems that support modern technological infrastructures. The activity addressed both academic and industrial perspectives, covering current challenges, career opportunities, and technological advances in embedded systems. In addition to fostering technical knowledge, the event strengthened collaboration among IEEE student chapters and expanded professional networking opportunities for participants.
