The 2-Day Electric Vehicle (EV) Workshop organized by IEEE IES Chapter along with IEEE KIIT Student Branch, Skyy Skill Academy and the School of Electrical Engineering, KIIT University, successfully brought together enthusiastic students to explore the rapidly evolving world of electric mobility and sustainable transportation. The event was held on 13–14 March 2026 at the Auditorium, Campus 3, KIIT DU.
The workshop provided participants with hands-on exposure to:
- EV components
- Battery technologies
- Motor control
- Charging infrastructure
…along with valuable insights from industry experts. It created an interactive platform for students to learn about emerging trends and innovations shaping the future of the power and energy sector.
This initiative was also conducted under the IEEE Industrial Electronics Society (IES) Hubs and Nodes Program, aiming to strengthen technical knowledge, promote collaboration, and encourage innovation among students and young professionals.
